About Lumilight

Alpine inspired beautiful wooden nightlight kits.

Lumilight design and make beautiful wooden mood / night light kits which are inspired by the architecture and lifestyles of mountain villages.

Each kit is presented in an attractive box. They are quick and simple to assemble. (no tools or glue required) and the small box size makes them easy to send as a gift anywhere in the world.

Each light contains a triple LED which gives a warm homely glow. The LED's are powered by a USB cable (included) .

Lumilights are loved by adults and children alike and make a beautiful addition to any home, during the day or at night,

Inspired by the Alps

Our products are inspired by a life of travel in both the European and New Zealand Alps.

The original Lumilight (Chalet Peak) was made by designer Chris Champion for his newborn daughter's bedroom.

Everyone who saw this first light asked where it was bought from. The decision was made to refine the design and take it to a big trade show in London to test reaction in a commercial setting. There's nothing like going straight in at the deep end!

Prototypes were made in 2015 using borrowed equipment. Half way through that first trade show it became clear that there was strong demand for these lights from adults too. We had enough orders to buy our own equipment and set up our own small workshop in Derbyshire.

We are still there today designing, making and packaging all of our products with pride.

Delivery

Lumilights are packaged in a strong cardboard display box and are dispatched in a padded envelope.

Orders are delivered worldwide via Royal Mail and may require a signature.

If you have any special delivery requirements such as courier dispatch please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate them.
