Lunar & Lobster

British designed and handprinted retro homeware handmade in beautiful Shropshire. Hand drawn from nature with the occasional lobster thrown in!

All designs are hand drawn and truly unique. I use only traditional hand burnishing methods with Japanese handmade papers. Designed from my surroundings in beautiful Shropshire and the journeys I take, all designs are from my own photography which is then hand draw at home or my art classroom surrounded by acres of woodland and rolling wheat fields. The design is edited by hand and the then carved out of lino and hand printed with lino print reduction printing methods and hand burnished using traditional oil based printing inks.

I have a slight obsession with lobsters which often get thrown in!

I think it's from my dream I was called 'DJ Lobster, I was DJ' ing at a party, spinning the decks with my claws'

My style is retro inspired. I re-wire, up cycle old lamp bases and sources beautiful hand blown recycled glass bases. More recently, I've expanded my range into lino printed surface pattern based on my hometown of Shrewsbury and Charles Darwin.

Every range has a story.
