Martelo and Mo is a bespoke-design studio passionate about designing and creating functional furniture and homewares from sustainably sourced materials.

HOLIDAY ANNOUNCEMENT:

Our workshop will be closed for the holiday season from December 22nd until January 7th inclusively. We look forward to catching up with you when we return on January 8th, 2024.

Please note that any Home Decor orders placed after December 21st will be dispatched from January 15th, as we'll take a much-needed break. Additionally, our Furniture pieces will be fulfilled on a 10-12 week lead time.

We choose natural, long-lasting materials and take great care in designing and making our products.

Lucas and Monika

LUCAS & MONIKA

Lucas is a self-taught carpenter, who grew up in the Brazilian city of Sao Paolo and Monika worked in interior design with luxury brands and loves home decor.

"We hope that our passion for hardwood and the years of love and dedication to furniture-making is evident from the attention to detail we put into every piece of furniture we create."

Every piece is a very personal collaboration with the client's vision, and the challenge is to bring it to life.

And where does the name – Martelo and Mo – came from?

Martelo is the Portuguese word for a hammer – the very first tool we bought together – and Mo is Monika's nickname for Monika.

"It seems to sum up our partnership!"

Delivery

Our items ship fully insured through and are encased in protective styrofoam and card.

Larger pieces are carefully crated and ship via freight - fully insured. Estimated shipping dates will be provided if required.

Shipments are trackable, and all information is supplied to the customer once booked. Large custom/crated goods requiring extensive protection will be subject to a charge of £50.00. Faster shipping/Saturday shipping available upon request.
