Let Nature In! Every week is a brand new composition using the best in season British, homegrown and locally sourced flowers and foliage.

Sophie trained in floristry in New Zealand, ran a wedding flower business in London, as well as having a long career in nature conservation. After moving to Bournemouth, Dorset with a young family, Sophie created MeadowSweet Posies as a way to combine these two passions and celebrate the diversity and beauty of British, seasonal flowers.

Each week, Sophie seeks seasonal inspiration from nature to include gems in her posies that reconnect us with the outside world. At different times of the year she might include catkins, snowdrops, cornflowers, sweet peas, berries and many other ingredients that you won't find on any high street!

She enjoys the challenge and natural restriction of using British seasonal flowers and foliage, and believes this makes for authentic, honest arrangements that encourage us to admire and connect with nature, and therefore to care about it.
