Milk&Honey Days was established in 2023 by me – Sylvanna.

I have always had a great love for books (you will never find me without a book in my handbag) and have kept a diary since I was a little girl. It was always a space for me to get my thoughts and feelings out and I have loved looking back on my early diaries.

Journaling has also been my saving grace through some of the traumatic times in my life and has had such a phenomenal positive impact on my mental health.

I am also a huge advocate for keeping a physical planner. Technology has taken over the world and we spend far too much time looking at screens, which is why keeping a diary is so important. It has allowed me to have that space to organise my life and declutter my mind, but also to block out time for me.

So why did I start this little business? I am a first-time mum to a little girl who was born in December of 2022r. Being a mum has been amazing, but it has also left me feeling overwhelmed at times. There was so much extra to plan and keep track of while having a tiny extra human to factor in. I spent hours looking for journals and dairies that were really timeless and beautiful during the beginning of my maternity leave, but everything was bold and bright and didn’t really connect with the calm and settling space I was looking for. So I decided to create my own.

All our pieces are quite minimal in nature and steer away from the very stimulating bold and bright pages. I know so many of us really value a calm and neat space to plan our lives and this is where we come in.

I have really kept mental health in mind when creating our pieces, and so you will find most of our products have some aspect of reflection or ‘pockets of peace’ in them. This was really important to me.

Wherever you are on your journey, I hope you will love and treasure our pieces for years to come. They have some really special moments in them.
