The Soundwave Personalised Ring makes a fabulous and unique keepsake of your wedding vows, first dance, favourite lyrics, even your heartbeat. The sound can be of anything you like, spoken word, a child's first words even your dog's woof! This beautiful ring captures the unique soundwave, which can be easily recorded on your phone, deep into the silver.
Note: Recordings can be any length from a few seconds up to around 4 minutes. Spoken word produces a far more interesting looking soundwave (as pictured) than 4 minutes of solid music.
Sending your recording:
We will contact you after receiving your order to give details about where to send your recording. Most mobile phones can record sound through the microphone. When recording your message, you should be in a quiet place with no background noise. Please listen to your recording and make sure you are happy with how it sounds before sending.
QR code
We will save your recording and create a QR code which we will deep engrave onto the ring. You will be able to scan the QR code using your smart phone and it will automatically play the recording.
The QR code is small, just 3mm square. Open your Camera app and point it steady for 2-3 seconds towards the QR Code you want to scan. If scanning is enabled, a notification will appear that will open the recording. If nothing happens, you may have to go to your Settings app and enable QR Code scanning. If QR Codes isn’t an option in your settings, you’ll just need to download a third-party QR Code reader app.
Variations
Your unique Soundwave will be beautifully deep engraved around the ring, the rings have a brushed matt finish, as shown in the images.
We can also engrave the inside of your ring with your chosen words (up to 30 characters including spaces).
Each ring will come in a standard Morgan and French gift box or you can upgrade to a premium hinged ring box (see last photo) for £3. The premium boxes are perfect for gifting your ring in for a special occasion or even a proposal. Just use the drop-down menu to select your gift box.

How to care for your Silver Jewellery
Genuine sterling Silver is prone to tarnish, this oxidising process is a natural occurrence but some substances in our daily lives will speed the process up. Anti-Bacterial gels, soap, hairspray, perfume, food, latex, perspiration and even the medication we are on or the natural oils on our hands can tarnish metals more quickly. Some may even find their skin is more reactive with metals and find copper or silver tarnishes very quickly, sometimes within days. Silver Tarnish does NOT mean that the silver is faulty or substandard, far from it, we do not offer refunds if silver tarnishes. Tarnish is a surface layer and is easily removed with silver polish/dip.
You should always remove jewellery before showering or swimming as leather and metals can react with chemicals and chlorine. Never allow leather to get wet. Wet leather will stay damp inside and deteriorate from within, this will loosen the bond within the clasp and affect the strength and look of the leather. As with all jewellery, straps, links and clasps can be opened or broken if not treated with care. What Is Rhodium Plating . Rhodium is an ultra-expensive precious metal (currently $29k per ounce, Gold is $1.7k) that belongs in the same group of metals as platinum. Rhodium doesn’t tarnish or fade, and it doesn’t corrode. Therefore, to protect sterling silver pieces from tarnishing, a thin layer of rhodium is applied. As a result of the plating, sterling silver is more resistant to wear and friction, and it looks brighter, shinier, and it has a mirror-like finish. Plating of sterling silver with rhodium is done through a process called electroplating. If you would like your silver Rhodium plated please select this option in the drop down boxes.
