Hi. I'm Melissa, the owner and creator of MW Studio.

When I first started MW Studio I told myself it was to balance the 9-5 and a way to unleash a little creativity. Who was I kidding? I always wanted to be my own boss and create a way of life that enabled me to make the most of this one go that we get. But don’t be fooled – there was no studio back then, just a kitchen table.

I have always been a maker and my ideas stem from the same place – try to keep things simple and beautiful. Don’t overdo it. I like things that have meaning and can bring a smile to someone’s face or brighten their day. That’s what I’m always aiming for.

Jump forward a few years and there is now an actual studio (well posh shed at the bottom of my garden) that I work from with my small team. It’s not the most glamorous but there’s always plenty of tea and cake on hand and lots of laughs along the way.
