About Nïma Nïma Studiø

‘DREAMY, CALMING ART INSPIRED BY NATURE & THE MEDITERRANEAN.’

‘Nïma Nïma Studiø’ was founded by me, Nik, a UK-based artist and designer. My art is influenced by calming positivity and nature, with nods to bohemian living and Mediterranean travel. I love creating in soft, dreamy colour palettes, adding textures to wavy, fluid shapes. I think this is integral to the ‘Nïma Nïma’ aesthetic. The sun and florals are usually always part of my artworks. I hope my wall art expresses joy and positivity in any space.

Inspiration for Nïma Nïma Studiø are wide ranging; from the aforementioned Mediterranean and Bohemian styles, to the simplicity of artists such as Picasso and Matisse. I design, print and pack all of my art prints from my Warwickshire-based studio. Always adding a handwritten note so my customers feel the personal, handmade touch that you get when you support a small business. I’m proud and lucky to know that my artwork has travelled to homes all over the world!

The Process

Creating Nïma Nïma Prints

Behind the Scenes

All artworks begin life as a roughs doodles (my sketchbooks are packed with random ideas that come to me, half asleep, at 3am!) Then, using my iPad and pencil, I begin developing, there’s a lot of trial and error, redrawing over and over, exploring different colour palettes until I’m happy. I also ensure the final artwork is textural to give the piece depth, there’s also a beauty in the imperfection. From there I create test prints, to see how well the artworks translate to something physical. And from there, I make it available for my super supportive customers to add to their artwork collection. It’s really encouraging that something that initially started as a lockdown projects has lead to thousands of my art pieces being in homes all over the world.

Delivery

UK orders are sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48 (arriving in 2-3 business days), for quicker delivery, please select the Express option at checkout.

International orders are sent tracked via Royal Mail International (arriving in 7-10 business days).

Prints sized A5, A4 & A3 are sent flat in a hard backed mailer. Prints sized at A2 are packed in a postal tube.
