I'm Owen Mathers, an artist and illustrator producing bespoke artworks and illustrations using traditional media. I love to draw portraits, locations and events.

Since discovering drawing and painting at school I went on to study at art school and train as a Graphic Designer. I started to draw again in sketchbooks in 2013 whilst living and working in London. I have drawn continuously ever since, and have filled over 70 now!

My technique has developed from working quickly from life using simple materials such as fountain pens and watercolour. I create hand drawn artworks with spontaneous line work and splashes of colour.

I love to capture positive, meaningful moments from life on paper, and enjoy producing unique artworks that really mean something to individuals. I am also commissioned frequently to draw live at events, weddings and occasions. Where I draw live portraits and scenes on location. I am based in Norwich, Norfolk.
