I grew up by the Solent: hunting for shells on the nearby beach which evolved into beach clean ups - but the plastic was ever increasing. How could we reuse these pieces and not put them back into the oceans?

Whilst looking for belts to smarten up children’s shorts, trousers, dungarees and skirts and upon learning about the remarkable work of REPREVE® who turn plastic bottles (from beach clean ups and landfill) into yarn, Pellegrine was born.

Now our kids and teens can have fun belts with quality and sustainability, whilst also educating them about our planet, plastic and the oceans.

1% from the sale of each belt goes to our chosen charity: The Marine Conservation Society, via Work for Good. It is the UK’s leading charity for the protection of our seas, shores and wildlife. Together, let us help to clean up our oceans and allow marine animals, like turtles, a better chance of survival.
