The ’mother ship’ of our collection … I take up a lot of space when I am working (some would say messy!), I want everything at arms reach, I need notebooks, a graphics tablet, cups of tea, a big 27” computer screen, and the Mhorain Desk is perfect for that! Ideal for the home office, studio, shop or work place, with a handy cable management hatch built in, these desks can sit flat against the wall or back-to-back.
Conceived and designed by Alice Jacobs, a 2012 alumni of Glasgow School of Art, and our young team at Flux Laser & CNC Studios, all the furniture is made in-house at our studio and workshop space in Burns Street Studios, Glasgow. The collection utilises our experience with digital fabrication materials, from conception through to the finished product.
All the furniture is CNC (computer numerically cut) from FSC sustainably sourced birch plywood. They have a maximum of six pieces and four screws, coming together in less than five minutes.
