From sleepless nights with a newborn, to sleepless nights with a sewing machine!

Poppy's Patches began life as a mere sleep deprived fantasy after the birth of my daughter. When she was a small, cross baby, I'd sit with her next to me, sewing away and dreaming of the self employed life and all the beautiful things I could create.

At the end of 2018, in a moment of madness (?) I took the plunge and started doing craft fairs to see if there was any interest in my little idea. . .turns out there wasn't! However, I'm as stubborn as the day is long and, as it turns out, that's not a bad thing, because, here I am today! I'm still wondering how I've managed it, but I'm ever so glad all the midnight sewing sessions have paid off!

Here at Poppy's Patches everything is lovingly handmade to order, each fabric print is carefully selected with you in mind. We are definitely a 'not on the high-street' brand. Especially as, every fabric print stocked in Poppy's Patches is exclusive to us. What does that mean? Well, you won't find it anywhere else! How snazzy is that?!
