Internationally recognised as some of the best soaps in the world, Marseille soaps have been hand-crafted by French master soap makers for over 600 years. In a perfect climate, these time honoured artisans unite the rich organic produce of Provençe, through a protected and strictly controlled process, to create exquisite soaps with exceptional skincare properties.

Containing only natural ingredients from sustainable sources our classic French soaps are free from chemicals and artificial additives and naturally gentle on your skin. Suitable for all skin types, they are dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic, biodegradable, cruelty-free, and vegan.

Luxuriously scented with exquisite perfumes and essential oils from Grasse, the birthplace and internationally acclaimed "World Capital of Perfume", they are long-lasting, look and smell beautiful, and leave a heavenly, lingering scent on your skin.

We’re passionate about soap and we’re passionate about our planet too!

We stand for a return to natural and ecological values, and to support traditions that have been cultivated for centuries. We’re proud of our products and we're proud of the people who make them. Our soaps are sourced directly from the producers in Marseille who strive to maintain their living heritage traditions in a world dominated by corporate and industrial giants.

We believe that being part of a natural living world, we must consider our impact and give back more than we take. We’d like to see a plastic and pollution-free, healthy living earth for our future generations, so we have a zero-waste, zero plastic, environmental policy and package all of our soaps in eco-friendly, bio-degradable, or recyclable materials.

It’s simple really, we sell products we love made by people we trust. We’re wholeheartedly committed to supporting the few remaining family ‘savonneries’ that produce France’s iconic soaps, and we’d love to share with you the very best that Provençe has to offer.

I bought gift boxes which have beautiful candle wax seals. I also bought lavender and belle de nuit soaps. I have only tried the lavender so far but effect was soft, gentle and moisturising.
