Using our comprehensive instructions and fabulous yarn, Quito will be a joy to make. Knitted on straight needles,there are 7 natural colours to choose from in our 100% pure, British alpaca yarn, or 6 dyed colours in our scrumptious alpaca/silk blend.
Knitting techniques include: short row shaping and cabling
There are two sizes
Knitted on 4 mm straight needles
Variations
There are 7 natural colour options to choose from and all are made with 100% pure British Alpaca fibre (from our own herd).
Two Sizes Available:
Small: to fit bust sizes 71 cm - 100 cm (28″ bust to 39″ bust)
Large: to fit bust sizes 101 cm - 132 cm (40″ bust to 52" bust)
This kit's contents are:
1 x Quito Waistcoat & Jacket Pattern,
350g or 400g (depending on size)
1 x Postcard of one of our alpacas (picture on one side and story on the other)
1 x Care Instructions
1 x Recycled quality gift bag with rope handles and ribbon tie.

Dimensions
Packed together in a clear plastic, resealable bag (useful for final garment storage) and posted in a blue mail bag (40cm x 28cm); the weight will depend on the size ordered as this has an incremental effect. Final posting weight ranges between 550g and 700g.

Purl Alpaca Designs' are exclusive to us and they are named after baby alpacas born to our herd.
Our 100% pure alpaca yarn is not dyed, all the colours are completely natural and the fibre is spun in Dorset by a specialist spinning mill.
Once made, we recommend hand-washing as the best way to ensure Quito keeps shape and lasts for years. We do however provide Care Instructions which gives extra tips on how to look after your Purl Alpaca Design.
