Roam baskets are hand-woven in Morocco using authentic techniques and 100% natural materials, then painted by hand in the UK. This is a handmade artisan product, no two baskets are exactly the same. The baskets have a rustic appearance and not the perfect size and shape of a machine-made product. There are always variations in size, colour and shape.
Please note that these bags are hand-painted, colours will wear with use and colour transfer is possible. Please treat your basket carefully.
Whilst we try to represent our colours as accurately as possible in the photos, some colours may appear lighter or darker in different lights.
We have a deep rooted belief in ethical trading, striving to provide a fair price to the artisan makers and the customer. Roam baskets are responsibly traded, travelling to UK by sea and road.
Variations
Choose one colour for the initials and outer stripes, then a second colour for the inner stripe. Colour choices: Red, Orange, Yellow, Emerald Green, Black, Brown, Purple, Navy, Turquoise, Hot Pink

Dimensions
Approximate size 52cm x 35cm. Basket size and shape varies slightly as they are all hand-woven. Please note all Moroccan baskets have a distinctive 'ridge' on the rear side, this is due to the spiral weaving method and is not a fault.
Made from
Baskets are made from palm straw. Handles are made from real leather. Designs are painted in ink.
Please note that whilst we use the highest quality permanent inks, colours may wear with use and colour transfer is possible. Please treat your basket carefully.
