Bring the rhythm to your home as a coffee table, drinks caddy or wall clock with these bespoke made-to-order upcycled drums.'
I guess It all started when I was 13 years old growing up in Stroud, Gloucestershire. I began playing the drums at my local secondary school wanting to be a rockstar (everyone wanted to be a rockstar right!?!).
To my parents, I can only apologise as it’s not the most subtle of instruments to learn. When I played, I was so loud I could be heard several streets away rocking out to a Mcfly track. My mum and dad even had a door bell installed in my room to tell me to stop playing if the phone rang or if dinner was ready. Eventually this lead me down a path into Musical Theatre, which is now my profession (as an actor not a drummer I may add). I’ve performed in many West End hit shows including Les Miserables and The Wind in the Willows to name a few. However, my love for drumming has never gone away.
So… fast forward (a few years) in the midst of a pandemic… when RockTops was Born!
I had an old Floor tom, my dad had some oak and I wanted to see if I could make a table out of them. So my dad who is a carpenter and joiner, showed me a few tricks of the trade to make a solid oak table top.
Although I didn’t know it yet, this would be the first ever RockTop, which we’ve of course kept in the family.
Never at this point did I think it would become a business, it was just a project for our own home. I put a picture of it on social media and the reaction was HUGE!
Straight away, I had people asking me to make one for them and even customise their own drums. And here we are a Business making solid oak tables (and more) out of old drums. Just like that. When I saw Mcfly casually sat around a RockTop chatting about their recent O2 concert, it’s safe to say the 13 year old “Drummer” In me was pretty chuffed!
So this is RockTops…
Remember “you can’t beat them!!!”

*Please note - the Oak table top can warp when exposed to extreme temperatures and frequent temperature changes, so please choose a wise home for it. Also, as I recycle old drums and there will be a few battle scars on the drum itself. We think it adds character and history to your RockTop. To make a bespoke, unique, one of a kind Table.
