Ro Óg

Ro Óg is a new Irish toy making business, run by Michael Whyte in West Cork. Ro Óg’s philosophy is to make toys that pass from generation to generation. These toys demonstrate excellence in manufacturing skill fused with a cost effective creative eco friendly design.

The initial trials and testing were my children, challenging the requirements of any toy. If they play with it, haven’t broken it or taken it apart then it's ready for the market.

Ro Óg specialises in designing and making high quality hand-crafted timber toys that enhance the effortless development of a variety of skills essential to children. The flag ship toys, the runbike and the ro rocker, are suitable for children ages two to six. Ro Óg toys have been CE tested, are safe, sturdy and easy to use. The high quality components are assembled with meticulous attention to detail ensuring the toys are generally maintenance free, can be used indoors or outdoors and have a specialised wax finish.
