Scottish Bee Company's Christmas Gifting Range

About Us

Enjoy these award-winning, pure honeys in the knowledge you are helping the bee population to thrive.

Suzie & Iain Millar founded The Scottish Bee Company in 2017 after long discussions about what they could do to help the environment.

We always wanted to run a business that was socially and environmentally responsible and the more we read about the decline in bee numbers, the more we felt we needed to do something.

We started off by giving bees to beefarmers across Scotland in order to help them as there was no funding available to beefarmers. We increased bee numbers by 23 million but quickly learned that there many more types of pollinators that needed our help. This led us to starting our sister charity, repollinate. 10p from every unit sold goes to this charity that aims to increase pollination through education programmes and wildflower projects.

We are progressing to be much more of a Scottish Larder by expanding our product range to focus on slow food and regenerative farming. The ingredients we use are deeply connected to the soil, climate and environment that create them.

Our Achievements

We are an award-winning honey company dedicated to increasing bee population in the UK.

Here at the Scottish Bee Company, we create real and authentic Scottish produce with the knowledge that a sustainable relationship between food and the land has to be a reciprocal one.

Our honey has received attention in the media due to the newly discovered, unique healing benefits of our heather honey. It also tastes delicious as our Great Taste award proves! And very excitingly, many of our food products have now gained Great Taste awards!

Protecting the bees and looking after the environment is at the heart of everything we do. Which is why we are dedicated to producing environmentally-friendly and socially responsible products; using fully recyclable packaging and donating 10p from every unit sold to our sister charity, Repollinate.
