The Sepia Art & Cartographie story started in the early 1980’s with our father and grand-father, Jacques Michot, a photographer and photo engraver, who lived in the heart of French Burgundy. The company was born out of his desire to give back to the Burgundy terroir and sell products that would marry well his most cherished occupation: sharing quality time with family and friends around an enjoyable meal and fine wine.

Jacques’ big heart has left a profound mark on our lives. Always in for family gatherings, we use any excuse to celebrate. We are fond of good wine and more than anything else, fond of people. Jacques' ideals are our company tenets. We apply an inclusive approach with colleagues. Among other initiatives, we work with a sheltered employment centre to pack our Burgundy Great Vineyards maps.

The Sepia Art & Cartographie already enjoys a great customers base in brick-and-mortar stores in Burgundy, France and abroad but following many recent customers’ requests, we have decided to start expanding our outreach through online sale.
