Silver Lantern Tea

1. Delivery

Silver Lantern aims to deliver all orders within 5 working days of a confirmed order. Please refer to the estimated dispatch date on the confirmation email to the customer from notonthehighstreet.com.

Once dispatched, the customer will be sent an email by notonthehighstreet.com informing them of the dispatch date of their order with an estimated delivery date.

All Silver Lantern products are sent out by 2nd class Royal Mail. This is not a guaranteed timed delivery or tracked service, and consequently all delivery dates are estimated.

Royal mail 2nd class is a 2-3 day delivery service but may take longer at seasonally busy times (e.g Christmas) and Silver Lantern cannot be held responsible for delayed deliveries.

2. Delivery Failure

If a parcel has not been received within the expected time frame, it is advisable to contact your local Royal Mail sorting office to see if the parcel is with them.

Royal mail will hold any undelivered parcel at the sorting office for 15 working days. After that time it will be returned to Silver Lantern. Silver Lantern reserves the right to charge a redelivery fee, which will be the cost of the return postage plus additional administration costs.

If an order has not arrived within 15 working days of the dispatch email and the local sorting office has confirmed it is not with them, the customer should notify Silver Lantern through their account on notonthehighstreet.com.

A parcel is not considered 'lost' by Royal mail until 15 working days have passed from the expected date of delivery. No replacement product or refund will be provided before this time period has elapsed.

Silver Lantern will not be held responsible for non-delivery of goods that are left on the doorstep by the postman, or where an incorrect or incomplete delivery address has been provided.

In the rare case where goods are lost by Royal Mail, a replacement product will be provided by Silver Lantern. A refund will only be provided at the discretion of Silver Lantern.

3. Returns

Should any item purchased from this site fail to meet the customers approval, the customer should notify Silver Lantern through their notonthehighstreet.com account and return the goods in original condition within 28 days of receipt. On receipt of the goods, a full refund of the item's cost including outward postage costs will be made to the buyer (subject to the below).

It is the responsibility of the customer to return the cancelled goods in a good condition and in enough suitable packaging to protect the goods during return delivery. Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer and will not be refunded.

4. Customs

When ordering goods for delivery outside the UK, the buyer is responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws of the importing country and for paying all applicable customs duties, taxes and import charges. If the country of delivery prohibits the delivery of tea products (for example, Australia), seizure of the goods is the responsibility of the buyer and Silver Lantern will not refund the cost of the goods.

4. Governing Law

These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
