It all started when my school mum-chums asked me to make some of my homemade spirit infusions to raise funds for the PTA Christmas Fayre... After having my two cherubs I know what PTA stands for... PASS THE ALCOHOL!!

Lone Stag Spirits are created in my kitchen, starting with my grandmas Gin infusion recipe. A family tradition made every summer for Christmas drinking. It's made in the in tiny 4 liter batches. We, myself and some lovely local friends, filter, bottle, label and package the spirits all by hand here in the workshop next to my home our rural village. We are zero waste, all our fruits are made into scrummy Lone Stag preserves and Chocolate truffles!

We were so ecstatic to hear Sloane Home won - Best in Luxury Hampers UK at the Food & Drink Awards also thrilled to be awarded 8 Great Taste Awards by the Guild of fine food, they say it's the foodie equivalent with over 13000 entries.

All thanks to the girls on the PTA, most of whom work here too!

Great Taste Awards 2020

"An intriguing use of red cherries, and a really clever meld with the complementary Tellicherry peppercorns. Both have bright character, with stone fruit and pepper aromas leaping out of the glass, and slightly sour juiciness balancing the sweetness on the palate. We'd have given a star even sampling at room temperature, and over ice the balance is perfected - sweet, sour, slightly bitter, highly aromatic elements all forming a delightful meld. "

"An interesting and welcome alternative to cassis for a Kir royale. Although understandably sweet when tried neat, this ingredient comes to life when diluted. Savoury vegetal notes are well balanced with floral perfume and fruit. A delicious, well considered infusion."
