A little bit about us

Socks with personality!

Anyone who has pulled on a new pair of bamboo socks knows that "ooooooo... nice socks" feeling. They are soft, instantly comfortable and you are sure that these socks will be your friend for quite some time!

This was the experience that led us to start thinking about selling bamboo socks - then, the more we looked into it and discovered the environmental and sustainability advantages of bamboo, the more we liked it. So Socks In A Box was born!

We now work with UK-based designers to create our ranges of men's and women's socks - we ensure that the designs are fun, quirky and interesting - but still wearable in most situations. "Socks with personality" is what we are aiming for.

Top-quality socks and why we donate socks to homeless charities

The quality of our socks is just as important to us. We have been able to source socks with a 200-needle count which is a very fine fabric to make socks from. Additionally we wanted to have a hand-link toe - a feature that provides greater comfort as the seams inside the sock lie flat. They do feel amazing and they last for ages!

We discovered that socks are a much-needed item of clothing for homeless people and they are often difficult for charities to source as all underwear has to be new. So we are pleased to be able to help by donating one pair of socks to small homeless charities for every order we receive. This is a simple and direct way to help homeless people.

So, that is us - funky socks (but not too funky!), made from a sustainable material and a homeless charity benefits from every order.
