Working and traveling in India in 1993 ignited my passion for Indian food. But many years later, as a sleep deprived Mum of 3 small boys, living in rural Scotland with the nearest supermarket 40 minutes away (no, they didn’t deliver) I found myself too busy to cook a curry from scratch. So I came up with a shortcut to create the curries that I had loved to eat in India. I found a way to batch-blend delicious spice combinations and simplify my favourite curry recipes (who needs to wash up more than one pan?) I used these blends and recipes for many years for my family and friends before I finally launched Spice Pots in 2013.

It’s always been our mission to make life easier in the kitchen and (11 years in) we are still true to that mission. We care about tasty, healthy food that is simple to create; we care about the planet, the happiness of our staff and building awesome relationships with our suppliers. Our curry is pretty good too!
