Studio Lowen

Little objects of happiness. "Lowen" - Cornish for happy / joyful Cornish made accessories and homeware designed to make you smile.

It all started as a dream, a dream one day to make something and build a little business to call my own.

At the bottom of our Cornish garden is my studio, it's my happy place, Studio Lowen (Lowen means happy in Cornish). It's here that I began painting on recycled leather, navy and gold inspired by the night skies and the twinkling stars, then later the botanical green print inspired by the foliage that surrounds my studio.

My collection is handmade here in Cornwall in my studio and includes a selection of real suedes and recycled leathers as well other complimentary products.

My aim is to create pieces which bring joy to the customer through both the functionality and aesthetic of the product, while the crafting of them brings me so much happiness. I try to be as sustainable as possible with plastic free packaging and try to utilise every piece of material to minimise waste.
