Hi, I'm Gemma. I'm the founder of sugar & cement (as well as the maker, painter, packer, poster, photographer, writer, social media manager... you get the idea!)

sugar & cement is a small - but ever-growing - homeware and tableware brand. My core collection is crafted from eco-friendly cement-composite and painted in bright Farrow & Ball colours. I wanted to create products that mixed minimalist and industrious with statement-making and soft, and I loved the idea of being able to give customers who didn't own a home the chance to incorporate a splash of F&B paint into their rented decor, and those who did, the option to match new home accessories to existing walls. I also want each and every S&C product to earn its place in your home, so everything will always be lovely to look at AND handy to have. Most of my pieces can be used and styled in more than one way.

Every single piece you can see in my NOTHS shop is handmade by me in South London, where I live with my partner and our pup, Hughie.
