Our story began 30 years ago when, with a thirst to continue the creative flair he had developed in art classes, Ricky left school and attended the Birmingham School of Jewellery. There he discovered his passion for working with silver and married this passion with his love of nature.

After years of selling his nature inspired designs at craft fairs throughout the West Midlands and Warwickshire he took the plunge and rented his first small upstairs workshop in the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter.

Today, Summer and Silver are still firmly rooted in the heart of the Birmingham Jewellery Quarter.

Our contemporary range of jewellery is either designed by us or from collaboration with jewellery designer friends whom we have made along our creative journey, to bring you beautifully crafted high quality designs at affordable prices. We only use 925 Sterling Silver for our pieces some of which are rose gold plated, yellow gold plated or oxidised. Each piece is stamped 925 or hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office where required.

Each piece of jewellery arrives gift packaged in pouches embossed with our logo and tied with a ribbon bow.
