Founded with a deep belief in the role that designers can play in creating work for people in developing communities. All our products are handmade with LOVE and attention by a women working from home, in a rural area of Bulgaria. 'tamielle' Bulgarian workshop is the result of collaboration with local Charities supporting women in need. We do believe that trade can be personal and intimate. Each embroidered product comes with a little tag – telling you the name of the woman who had created it for you.

Launching in September 2006, tamielle’s hankies have received the prize for Best New Product. ‘The Handkerchief Club’ initiative, represents a wish to revive one of the most beautiful, romantic product ever to exist: The Hand Embroidered Handkerchief. All our handkerchiefs for both men and women are made of the softest fine Cotton and packed in beautiful handmade gift boxes.
