We're Tom and Alice, the founders of Terzi Editions. We set up Terzi Editions after failing to find the perfect towel for weekends away. We wanted something versatile and stylish for the beach, by the pool or just in the gym. It was a wedding in Istanbul that gave us that 'penny drop' moment.

Sitting by a pool overlooking the Bosphorus we borrowed a friend's towel - small, stylish and quick-drying with beautiful patterns and rich colours. We were smitten. We got back to the UK and started working out how to make the best Turkish towel out there. We talked about how much the way we travel has changed. We are no longer taking big suitcases away for two-week holidays, instead we are packing light and nipping off for long weekends in the sun.

We knew a well-designed, pure cotton towel that packed down small enough to fit in hand-luggage was the answer. We worked with a London-based designer to find a name and brand that fitted our style and ethos, and Terzi Editions was born.
