Our mission is to help people make delicious drinks, fuss free. Take your cocktail making up a notch with our hand-crafted cocktail bitters sets.
The Bitter Club offers a range of hand-crafted cocktail bitters and garnishes that are sustainably made in London from natural ingredients, with no added sugars or flavourings.
Cracking in cocktails, or splendid with sparkling water, our bitters are a staple for any drinker and a wonderfully versatile addition to any home bar.
Relatively unknown, bitters are instrumental in cocktail making. They are to drinks what spices are to food, adding depth and balance to any basic drink, making it delightfully delicious.
Unlike “low & no” alcoholic substitutes you get forceful flavour from only a few drops, and you’re completely in control of how strong or weak you want your drink to be.
Our Origin Story
How a love of Bourbon turned into a Bitters brand.
While most people will say they had everything planned from the start, our founder is not shy about the fact that The Bitter Club was a complete accident.
Having become obsessed with Bourbon while living in America, even dragging friends from home in the UK to distilleries, she decided to learn how the entire distilling process worked.
During her certification course she began playing around with making cocktail bitters. At first just to see how to blend spirits and mix flavour profiles – believe us, there are some things that should not be allowed in a jar together – but then it happened.
She decided to make the perfect bitters for her favourite cocktail, an Old Fashioned, and thus was born our Cinnamon & Orange Bitters. Two more flavours and numerous cocktail recipes later, The Bitter Club launched.
