Chocolate Trading Co. began in 2002 with the aim to retail the best chocolates from the top chocolate makers in the world. This type of chocolate is not readily available on the high street due to it's specialist nature.

All our chocolate selection boxes are hand-made, on our own premises, before being hand-finished with ribbon or wax seal etc. and packed with care and attention for dispatch.

Even our packaging is 100% bio-degradable, with our packaging filler (white peanut-shapes) being made from maize starch (so its even safe for those with wheat allergies to handle), designed to offer superior cushioning against bumps during the delivery journey and a high level of insulation against extremes of temperature.
Our sturdy cardboard outers are also made from recycled card and any other packaging materials e.g. bubble-wrap, we may use in addition, from time-to-time, are recycled from our own deliveries.
We know that our customers care about the environment and appreciate the lengths we go to, to make our chocolate gift deliveries as green as possible.
Please note there is no postal service on UK Bank holidays and they are not considered working days.
Our chocolate deliveries are made by either Royal Mail or DPD dependant on weight/service (Requiring a signature) and if no one is at the address to accept and sign for a delivery, a calling card will be left with a telephone number for you to arrange a re-delivery or collection from your local Royal Mail sorting office.
You may find it useful to arrange your chocolate delivery to your place of work, family member or to order chocolates by telephone and request a 'Safeplace' (Standard UK deliveries only).
Delivery Costs are per order/delivery address and not per product so you can order as many chocolates as you like for the one delivery cost.
We regret that delivery delays due to bad weather are beyond our control, and we are unable to offer refunds on any delivery services affected. Please accept our sincere apologies on behalf of the courier companies for any inconvenience caused.

Our guarantee to our customers:
If your chocolate delivery arrives damaged you must advise us within 7 days and post them back to us within 30 days. We will send a replacement chocolate delivery within 7 working days or refund your money. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Should you wish to return any chocolate item it would be most helpful if you could contact our Customer Services first. There are occasions when it may be unnecessary for you to be inconvenienced by sending a chocolate item back or practical to do so dependent on the type of product. Fragile, date sensitive products and sale items can not be returned if not faulty as they may not be suitable for re-sale.
If for any reason a chocolate item you have ordered is out of stock we will contact you for your choice of replacement, the option to cancel the order or arrange a later chocolate delivery to include your original chosen chocolate item.
