The best way to explore the science and engineering in the world around us, Curiosity Boxes are designed to bring real science to life, in a fun, hands-on way. Using Montessori philosophy and curiosity-led learning, each Curiosity Box builds problem solving skills and gets children thinking scientifically.
Linked to the school curriculum and, where appropriate, the UN Sustainable Development Goals, each Box theme explores a different topic and features a young, inspiring role model doing real research in that field.
Our exploratory science and engineering kits will nurture the natural curiosity and spark imagination in the child you love.
Variations
The Jumbo/Nano Box for 7-11 yr olds contains:
* Draculas Cloak: A spooky chemical reaction that changes colour before your eyes, this could be the secret to invisibility! (Jumbo & Nano)
* Break a leg: Learn all about bones, what’s inside them and why are they so strong by making your very own model of a bone (Jumbo & Nano)
* Raining Blood: Make a horrifying glowing mixture with oozing drops of blood and explore density at the same time…gruesome! (Jumbo Only)
* Scream Maker: Is it a blood curdling scream, or possibly a sick chicken? Give your friends and family a fright with a spooky, scream-maker activity! (Jumbo Only)
The Tots/ Tots Nano Box for 4-6 yr olds contains:
Rattlin’ bones: Learn all about bones, what’s inside them and why are they so strong by making your very own model of a bone. ( Tots & Tots Nano)

Each Box includes collectable lab kit such as measuring tubes, mortar and pestle, test tubes and beakers, so your Curiositeer can build up their own at-home science lab.
Packaging: Biodegradable, uncoated cardboard box sourced and made in the UK, compostable starch packaging. We’ve never used single use plastic packaging (and are working with suppliers to try and stop them doing it too!)
We invent and manufacture all our Boxes in Oxfordshire
