The Curious Bear helps inspire imagination through nature, education and fun as well as teaching children about honey sandwiches of course!

Hi, I'm Emily an experienced early years childcare professional and a Forest School Leader with a firm belief that all children benefit from an early engagement with the nature around them.

As the daughter of an artist our home was always filled with paint and colour. Craft activities indoor and outdoor were a particularly important part of my childhood and I would generally come home from nursery or school covered in paint and with my bag filled with my latest creations. I started this business with the idea of giving other children the same opportunity to develop and learn through creative and nature based play.

From this emerged The Curious Bear offering high quality, gender neutral and eco-friendly educational play kits as well as a range of beautifully illustrated animal-based cards and prints.
