Hello, I'm Sarah, I craft thoughtful sustainably conscious products from the Great British Countryside for nature loving kind humans!. Creating art, homeware & writing words to arrive at your door with a smile, a squeeze and a big old dollop of charming Devon countryside.

Living and working on a Dartmoor farm, my work is hugely inspired by nature in all of its colourful loveliness! Bringing the hedgerow into your home with botanical, floral and foraged farm finds, I pride myself on making unique products that spread a little joy.

Working from my studio which sits in the eaves of our farm's Granary here in Devon, my art journey began when I injured my back in 2016.

I took up painting as a means to help my recovery from spinal surgery. But it wasn't long before I began making work that others wanted in their homes. In 2018, I turned my recovery into a big dream and started my small business. I live and work on the farm making magical items for you, made with love.

Process & Values

From the middle of nowhere to your somewhere.

Everything I make is handmade. It's made with care, love and oodles of joy thrown in! I use recycled & eco-friendly FSC sustainable materials for all of my products. My work is rooted in a life lived in the countryside. I often forage flowers from our farms' hedgerows, seeds from our flower patch and feathers found on woodland walks for use in my installations. Each piece begins with the drawing stage. It's designed by hand with print works photographed and digitised for a contemporary finish. Within my homewares, I like to create pieces that have a vintage twist and these pieces are all handmade to order.

Delivery

Please note hand-painted items will be made to order and lead times on each product is meant as a guide. I spend time hand-painting each homeware product so these items take a little longer. Everything is sustainably packaged. I use recycled biodegradable packaging and zero plastic. Art prints have compostable backing boards and are wrapped in eco-friendly tissue paper.
