Our Christmas "A very Sherry Whiskymas" line-up features a tasty selection of six premium whiskies that have been matured in sherry casks, including a taster of a super-premium 21 year old Scotch costing more than £120 for a whole bottle!
Sherry-matured whiskies are full of Christmas flavours, with notes of dried and stewed fruits, and sweet festive spices like cinnamon and ginger. Some of these drams are like liquid Christmas cake!
Each box contains 5 miniatures (25ml single measures) of premium Scotch whiskies and a very special super-premium half-measure (12.5ml) as an extra treat. Sets include luxury tasting cards with interesting facts about each distillery or bottling.
The six whiskies in this special festive box are:
- Old Perth, The Original - A combination of fine sherry-matured malt whiskies from the Glenlivet region of Speyside.
- Lochlea, Cask Strength - The first ever cask strength release from these celebrated grain-to-glass whiskymakers, at a whopping 60% strength!
- "The Falls of Caledonia", Glentauchers, Aged 7 Years - A rich and decadent sherried Scotch from the uncommon Glentauchers distillery.
- Maple Syrup & Toasted Oats & Orange Zest & Vanilla, Aged 8 Years - A rare combination of Canadian corn whisky and sherry casks. Wowsers!
- "Smoke & Glory", Ledaig, Aged 12 Years - A well-aged showcase of this fantastically peaty single malt from the Isle of Mull. Highly complex.
- Secret Speyside Distillery, Aged 21 Years - A 21 year old single malt Scotch that retails at over £120 a bottle. A little drop of delight for Christmas!
