Pregnancy Necklace

This pregnancy necklace is inspired by the bola, an ancestral pregnancy chime traditionally worn by expecting mothers in Mexico.

A pregnancy necklace is a musical pendant that emits a harmonious chime when rolling on the belly of mums-to-be. It is used to soothe and comfort babies during pregnancy and help mothers-to-be create a strong and unique bond with their baby right from the first moments of life.

Also called an Angel Caller or Angel whisperer, the legend goes that the chime of this pregnancy necklace has the power to call the guardian angel of the baby for protection during pregnancy.

After birth, the necklace can be worn shorter by the mum to continue to soothe baby who will recognise and get comforted by this familiar sound, remimding him of the warmth of his mum. The necklace can also be handed over to the child for protection later on in life.
