The story behind the flowers

Floral art with a graphic eye

I’ve spent twenty years in the creative industry, working collaboratively with designers, photographers, fashion stylists and make-up artists. Initially through magazines such as The Face and Arena then in ad agencies from Saatchi & Saatchi to Rankin Creative.

Growing up in the Midlands I was heavily influenced by the surrounding countryside, Art Nouveau and Georgia O Keefe. My design degree inspires my work too, enabling me to bring a bold graphic eye to each print and fabric design.

Beginning each piece as an acrylic painting, often using flowers that I have grown in my garden, I then use the paintings as the basis for further print and textile studies.

Bold, punchy and vibrant colour combinations run though my pieces. I capture the riotous colours and shapes paired with natures structure and elegance, bringing floral joy to your home.

Prints are quality giclees, printed on 308 gsm Hahnemühle Photo Rag, with an option of non-giclee for the larger circle and A1 prints.
