Who are we?

Plant our cards and with a little love and attention they will grow into beautiful wildflowers. A fantastic way to send some love and do our bit for our planet.

The Seed Card Company was founded by three individuals who share a love for print and wanting to play their part in creating a more sustainable and eco-friendly environment for us and future generations.

Every aspect of our company has been thought over to make sure we reach our sustainability goals, and with every stationery item sold, you are helping us achieve these, so thanks in advance!

We'll go into more detail on our Seed Card later, but what else are we doing to help the environment and to achieve these goals? For starters, all of our cards are printed with vegan friendly ink. So when you plant your card you can be rest assured there are no nasties going into the ground. You will also notice that none of our packaging will ever include plastic. No single use cellophane packets for us! Our envelopes are 100% recycled and the gum is completely natural. All of our orders are shipped with 100% recycled packaging, including the address label. Come on, you're impressed we thought of everything right?

What is Seed Card?

So, what is this Seed Card I hear you ask!

Well, after working in the print industry for over a decade, we see new paper and card options popping up all of the time. In more recent years, as the world has become more eco-conscious, these materials have started having certain traits in common, eco-friendly, recycled, FSC certified.

We had been working with seed card for a few years and we knew we had stumbled on something special. After a lot of research and product testing (our homes are now overrun by small pots and wildflowers), we created The Seed Card Company.

Seed card material is so unique. Not only is it completely biodegradable, it won’t leave any nasties as it naturally breaks down, but better than that, it is embedded with wildflower seeds so when you plant the card after you’re done with it, with a little care and attention, it will grow into beautiful wildflowers.

But there is more, it is made completely from post-consumer waste. It’s actually a bit of an eco-hero in the print world.

Terms and Conditions

Printing Quality & Processes:

We endeavour to provide quality printed / laser-cut Products. However, the User expressly acknowledges and agrees that:

the colour rendition on the Website of the card and envelope Product colours is not contractual, including (without limitation) because the colours presented on a computer screen differ depending on the configuration of the computer and the quality of the screen image;

the rendition on the Website of the paper or card textures is not contractual for the same reasons; and

consequently, the Company’s liability cannot be sought due to a marginal variation between the Product as seen on the Website and the Product delivered to the User.

As our stationery is all handmade, slight variations in colour, alignment, texture, size and position is normal and does not constitute a fault. This does not give grounds to complaints and/or replacements and/or refunds.

Seed Card and Germination:

Seed card contains living seeds and the conditions in which is it planted it not the responsibility of the Company. The Company provides a guide on how to plant the products but many factors including but not limited to watering regime, soil condition, sunlight and ambient temperature play a part in seed cards’ growth. The Seed Card Company Ltd. cannot be held liable for failure of seed card germinating.

Personalisation of Products:

It is up to the User to ensure that all content in a personalised Product is correct, and (for example) is correctly spelt or irregularly formatted. We cannot edit or cancel an order for a personalised Product once it has been placed and a digital proof has been signed off, so please double-check your order on screen before confirming your purchase and signing off on digital proofs.

The Company is not responsible for any missing information, typing, spelling or other errors in the text you have supplied.
