Chef David Jessup fed his passion for Indian cooking working at Bristol’s unique restaurant ‘The Thali Café’. It’s here that his obsession with spices began.

Committed to delivering fresh and authentic food, David travelled the world searching for the best recipes and secrets to unlock the full potential and flavour of both familiar and largely unknown spices. In 2016, he began to share his knowledge and high-quality range of world spice kits in local markets. The Spice Sultan was born!

Now, The Spice Sultan not only sells a range of world spice kits, but also offers subscription-based products to bring delicious Indian cuisine within reach of everyone. Every Spice Sultan subscriber receives a monthly box of ‘Thali Discovery’ or ‘Veggie Thali’ recipe cards, along with the precise amount of freshly roasted, ground, and blended spices required to concoct a magical meal for four.
