If you are after a traditional looking sign, that is both eye catching and long lasting you can’t go far wrong with our beautiful handmade double post house signs. Created from hand-selected English Oak from our local saw mill, we build each sign to order with great care and attention to detail. We use the finest Superior Grade Air-Dried Oak to produce these superior quality signs.
All of our free standing house signs come already assembled, there is nothing to do to the sign except get it in the ground.
SIGN SIZES:
We offer two sizes in our standard house sign range. Our Small – 10cm tall and our Large sign – 20cm tall, allowing you to either have your house name engraved on one or two lines depending on how you want your house sign to look. The length of the sign plaque will vary due to the amount of lettering that is required. We will always allow plenty of room either side of your lettering to give your house sign a well-proportioned look. All of our sign plaques are 2.5cm thick and feature carved lettering 5cm tall – Please see the dimensions below:
1 OR 2 POSTS:
You can choose either a single post or two oak posts to have your sign mounted. The sizes of the posts are 5cm square by the length you choose, giving you the option of having your sign close to the ground or plenty of clearance should you need it – to be above a wall or hedge for example.
Choose a post length of – 60cm tall or 1.2 metres tall. These posts sizes are the total height, include what you will need to put into the ground and also the area where the sign is mounted.
ENGRAVED AND COLOUR OPTIONS:
These signs come beautifully finished with standard engraving or paint-filled engraved lettering. You have the choice of Black, White or Grey painted lettering.
You also have the option of making the first letter of your engraved lettering larger than the rest of the characters if you wish. Please see the images below.
