Trashy Bags transforms waste into eco-friendly products, promoting sustainability and education while empowering communities in Ghana.
At Trashy Bags, we are a UK-led, Ghana-based social enterprise committed to making a positive impact on the environment and communities. Since 2007, we've been turning waste into opportunity by transforming discarded plastic waste into unique, eco-friendly products such as bags, accessories, and lifestyle items.
Our mission is simple: to reduce waste and promote sustainability by repurposing plastic waste into practical, stylish products. We collect thousands of plastic sachets, bags, and wrappers that would otherwise pollute the environment and turn them into durable, handcrafted items. By doing so, we are reducing plastic waste and raising awareness about the importance of environmental conservation.
