Tropical Glass was born from a passion for plants and nature. Our adventure with terrariums began a few years ago when we were looking for the perfect gift for our mums. When we came across an article about a glass terrarium that had been unopened for over 50 years and was still thriving, we came up with the idea for a gift.

We felt that a small ecosystem built by us would be an unusual and original gift that our mums would enjoy for a long time. Since then, we have built terrariums for friends and family as a hobby. Eventually, our hobby became a full-time job and we founded Tropical Glass.

Our goal is to make it easy for you to bring nature into your home by showing you that plants do not have to be a nuisance. Do you travel a lot? Are you forgetful when it comes to watering your plants or do not consider yourself to have a green thumb? If so, then look no further as we have a solution for you! Let us introduce you to a terrarium ecosystem, also known as a "garden in a bottle".

We ship orders from Monday to Friday.

In case your order contains plants please unpack your items as soon as possible.

All our products are packed using biodegradable, recycled or recyclable packaging.

Terms and Conditions

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please provide us with photographic evidence of receiving your order.

How to report damage:

1. Take a photo of damaged packaging

2. Take a photo of interior damage (item still in package broken) if possible.

3. Take a photo of item damage

4. Send photo evidence to us via 'Not on the High Street' platfrom

Please note damages must be reported within 48 hours of receipt of the package.

Issues with plants

All issues with plant health or damage to the plant in shipping need to be highlighted to us within 48 hours of receipt. We cannot be held responsible for how you care for the plant and the environment the plant is kept in.

Delivery Issues

Tropical Glass will not be held responsible for incorrect addresses. If the item is delayed due to an incorrect address Tropical Glass will not be held responsible for any damaged plants due to the delay. If you change and extend your delivery date for any reason once dispatched, Tropical Glass holds no responsibility for the condition of the plants once received.
