Variations
These pop up holders are decorated with Katazome (stencil-dyeing) pattern.
Stencil dyeing had been widely used for dyeing kimono fabrics in Japan. It is a centuries old technique that manages the most elaborate design by dyeing only.
Most of these design patterns are created in this 100 years and the maker holds the rights.
As the paper is not bleached, the colours look sober and gives a reminiscence of old folk toys. Sold separately. Price is for single item only.
