Go on, give the gift of a great walk! A Vespucci Hiking pack is an original present that, at no extra cost, offers joy, laughter and fresh air.

I founded Vespucci Adventures over seven years ago. I thought there was a gap in the market for a trusted source for a great walk. Access by train, a good café at the start, pub towards the end and great views and interesting places along the way are the essential elements that must be present in a Vespucci Hike.

I wanted to create a product that would give the recipient of a Vespucci Hiking pack the confidence to go on a great walk. Our routes are superimposed onto an OS based map with waypoints and navigational aids highlighted. If all else fails, there is a QR code that can be used to access the walk on the OS app.

We also provide a guidebook giving you all you need to know to make the best of the day. We set out how to get to the start, what to bring, where to find the café and pub, what to look out for and what to do if things go wrong. Every pack has a Plan B!

Tasked with ensuring that the key elements noted above are present, every walk has a “curator”, someone who loves their walking and knows an outstanding walk. I then go and walk it. If it is upto Vespucci standards, it is published.
