About marf

Handmade personalised gifts and cards for all occasions.

'Marf' is a creative business based in Bedford, UK. Husband & wife duo Jon & Natalie design & make all products from their home studio & workshop.

Formerly offering just personalised cards & known as 'Violet Pickles' (founded back in 2009 by Natalie) marf was born in 2021 when Jon & Nat joined forces following a global pandemic! Marf now also offers sustainable wooden homeware, signs and gifts for all occasions.

If you fancy adapting any of the designs beyond the options available then please get in touch and we will see what we can do. We love to hear from our customers.

All card designs (unless specified) are printed on recycled natural white card and come with a plain white or kraft brown envelope (depending on the design chosen). Materials used for laser cut products vary from birch plywood, MDF, pine & hardwood.

Also available are a limited range of prints and mugs.

Delivery

Small items (cards, decorations) aim to be delivered within 3 - 5 days during non-peak periods. Larger wooden products/signs aim to be delivered within 1-2 weeks during non-peak periods. If items take longer than that to be delivered then the customer will be informed prior to dispatch by marf (unless delays are caused by Royal Mail or MyHermes).

Terms and Conditions

Damaged or faulty goods can be returned for refund.

We aim to deliver small item orders to any address in the UK within 5 days, depending on stock availability, size of order and time of year. Larger/wooden items should be delivered within 2 weeks, depending on demand and time of the year.
