This Unique Bee hotel (or log cabin!) is a structure that provides shelter and nesting for solitary bees.
Made from natural logs and timber, it is a lovely addition to your garden while providing a much needed home for the bees. Solitary bees are important pollinators and beneficial insects that do not form colonies or produce honey. They lay their eggs in the holes along with some pollen or prey for the larvae to feed on. The eggs are sealed with mud, leaves, or other materials. The young bees emerge the following year and start the cycle again. Bee hotels can help conserve these insects and support biodiversity in your garden.
Using the supplied hanger on the back, place in a sheltered spot somewhere preferably to catch the morning sun and to keep the rain from flooding the bees bedrooms! This Bee Hotel can now be personalised. Why not add a message, name or number to your Bee Hotel? Please select the option in the drop down menu and remember to leave the message you'd like engraved on the roof when you check out. A maximum of 45 characters please. We now offer four font options for you to choose from, I will adjust the size and positioning of the engraving so it looks as good as possible. If no font is selected we will use Ariel.
