This starts by moulding and painting the clay which is then hand painted before adding the final touches - like adding sterling silver ear wires and carefully sourced Jangly festive components such as silver bells and pale blue-coloured tassels.

I have been making jewellery for over 20 years and have discovered this durable clay material is perfect for jewellery making as it is light weight. it doesn’t break when it is dropped, and it is waterproof so unlike many other novelty earrings on the market these ones can hopefully be worn again year after year making them a better choice for the environment.
A gift and keepsake item – includes a wooden slice which I have innovated into a stand. The earring can be stood up on a dressing table or on a shelf, so the card/ colours of Christmas card and stand can be used as an alternative jewellery display/ holder or simply as an alternative Christmas decoration. The lovely, jangly candy cane earings can be placed back on their stand when they are not being worn.
Hang it on the Christmas tree! The wooden stand comes attached to string at the top of the packaging. This can simply be removed by pulling it off the string. The item is packaged in cellophane wrapping for protection and the string is strong enough to hang on a Christmas tree or pegged up with other Christmas cards/ advent calendars etc as an innovative, quirky, secret Santa or Christmas present hunting idea!
Can be Personalised - A name, occasion or a very short message can be added to the bottom of the card. This will be handwritten in black pen. The same personalisation can also be added to the wooden stand.
