Poufs are useful, easy to move around to just where you want them and they're flexible enough to fulfil the functions of a stool.

Ours are in fabric rather than leather, in ivory 100% cotton canvas 60cm across and 20cm high, with an embroidered design of scallops in silver or gold or bright pink, with the round curves of the design echoing the circle shape of the pouf. The bright pink version comes pepped up with pompoms too. The stuffing also is an improvement on the polystyrene balls and crumpled plastic bags of the traditional Moroccan version.
