Roses Are Red Velvet Kimono

This printed velvet, reversible Kimono is a luxurious and versatile piece from new wearable art label, From My Mother’s Garden, in a beautifully soft, draping velvet. The printed velvet kimono is reversible and can be worn in a multitude of ways. It has an lovely red rose print with a gorgeous deep red / crimson reverse. It has a simple half mandarin collar at the back and the plain front opening drapes with no fastening.

Wear your printed velvet kimono either with the Roses Are Red print or plain deep red reverse as a simple jacket over a dress, trousers or jeans. For a more fitted appearance, we suggest styling with a wrap belt or a brooch to pin it, nipped under the bust or as a cross-over. It can also be turned upside down and worn as a shrug.
