Handmade ceramics from our studio on Dartmoor, Devon. A stylish pair of glass rectangular earrings, a design reflecting the deep waters of the ocean.
Beautifully crafted to make an elegant but bold statement, great for brightening an outfit or for an evening out.
Made from ceramic, glass, real gold detailing and sterling silver hooks. Timeless and sophisticated handcrafted women's jewellery. Each piece has been carefully hand-shaped and painted, adding an elegant and contemporary feel. The kiln-fired glass gives the piece a high quality and gemstone-like appearance. The luxurious smoothness of the pooled glass gives a soothing sensory experience - similar to that of a comforting touchstone you would keep in your pocket. It's hard to describe, but we just can't stop feeling the surface with our fingers!
As each individual piece is handmade, each one is completely one-of-a-kind. Therefore, please note that yours will vary slightly to those shown in the images.
PLEASE NOTE: The outer edge of the gold may fade in time, revealing the ceramic underneath and leaving an inner ring of gold. Please follow our care instructions below.
HOW SHOULD I TAKE CARE OF MY JEWELLERY?
- Handle with care. Ceramic is a sturdy material when being worn, but when taken out please ensure the jewellery avoids impact or sharp objects as this may damage the ceramic. Ideally store in a dry place or in a box.
- Avoid direct contact with water and chemical products (e.g. soap, perfume, moisturisers, oils etc.). This can cause the gold lustre to fade as it is like a plating. If the jewellery gets wet, gently dry with a soft cloth.
- Over time the sterling silver may tarnish. This is completely normal and common for silver jewellery. Simply polish with a silver cloth and this will make it clean and shiny again.
