My love of horses stems from my childhood as I grew up on a working horse farm. My first horse was a flea-bitten mare similiar in markings to the arab mare I have painted in this work of art.
I find painting horses to be incredibly fulfilling as they are have such interesting bone structure and muscles that show through their coat and are fascinating to portray.
